Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (English: Sometimes Happiness, Sometimes Sadness), also known as K3G, is a 2001 drama film written and directed by Karan Johar and produced by his father, Yash Johar, under the banner of Dharma Productions. Written specifically to evoke nostalgia among the expatriate Indian audiences, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in leading roles, with Rani Mukerji appearing in an extended cameo appearance. The music was composed by Jatin Lalit, Sandesh Shandilyaand Aadesh Shrivastava, with lyrics penned by Sameer and Anil Pandey. The background score was composed by Babloo Chakravarty. The film tells the story of an Indian family, which faces troubles and misunderstandings over their adopted son's marriage to a girl belonging to a lower socio-economic group than them.

Development of the film began in 1998, soon after the release of Karan's debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). Principal photography began on 16 October 2000 in Mumbai and continued in London and Egypt. Initially scheduled to release during the Diwali festivities of 2001, the film eventually released in India, United Kingdom and North America on 14 December 2001. In 2003, it became the first Indian film to be given a theatrical release inGermany. Upon release, the film met with mixed reviews from film critics and received polarising reactions to Karan Johar's "larger-than-life" directorial style. Certain academicians criticised the portrayal of a "morally corrupt" British society against an "idealist" Indian society.

Made on a budget of 40 crore (US$6.8 million), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... emerged as a major commercial success, both domestically and internationally, with a lifetime gross of 117.29 crore (US$20 million). Outside India, the film was the highest grossing Indian film ever, until its record was broken by Karan's next directorial, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... won several awards at popular award ceremonies the following year, including five Filmfare Awards.

Yashvardhan "Yash" Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) is a rich businessman, living in India with his wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan) and two sons Rahul and Rohan. Rahul is the elder son and was adopted by Yash and Nandini when he was first born. At the age of eight, he learns of this and as a result feels obliged to them. This truth is known to everyone in the Raichand household, with the exception of Rohan.

Years later, a grown Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) comes across the beautiful Anjali Sharma (Kajol). The two become friends and eventually fall in love. However, they know deep down that their relationship has no future, because Anjali is from a working class background. Yash and Nandini soon send Rohan off to Boarding School, somewhere all the males in their family have attended. Yash announces his desire for Rahul to marry Naina (Rani Mukherji), the daughter of his closest friend. Naina learns however that Rahul is in love with Anjali, and encourages him to follow his heart. When Yash comes to know of Rahul's love for Anjali, he is enraged and hurt. Rahul promises his father that he will not marry Anjali. When he goes to tell her that he cannot marry her, he is shocked to discover that her father (Alok Nath) has passed away. Unable to see the woman he loves in pain, he decides to marry her despite his father's hostility. Yash learns of the marriage and is furious. He disowns Rahul, saying he no longer considers him his son. Nandini and Rahul share a tearful goodbye. Nandini sends Sayeeda (Farida Jalal), Rahul and Rohan's nanny, to watch over her son so that he will never feel apart from a mother's love. Rahul visits Rohan in Boarding School and tells him that he is leaving home forever. He begs Rohan to never ask where he went or why he left and also asks that he take care of Nandini.

Ten years later, Rohan (Hrithik Roshan) returns home from Boarding School. He learns from his grandmothers (Achala Sachdev and Sushma Seth) that Rahul was adopted, and the reason why Rahul left the house. Rohan vows to reunite the family. He travels to Chandini Chowk, where Anjali used to live and learns that Rahul, Anjali, and her younger sister Pooja moved to London. He tells his parents that he wishes to do some further studies in London; his parents agree to let him go. In London, Rahul is now a wealthy businessman. He and Anjali now have their own son, Krish. Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) is now a student at King's College London. Rohan enrolls there too. He and Pooja meet again and he tells her that he has come to London to bring his brother and sister-in-law back home. Pooja tells Rahul that Rohan is her friend's brother who currently has nowhere to stay. After some persuasion, Rahul agrees to let Rohan stay. Rohan constantly drops the family hints as to who he is. At Krish's school function he leads his class in singing the Indian National Anthem. Later, Krish recites advice which Rohan had given him. Rahul had given Rohan this advice 10 years back, so he now realises that he has been reunited with his brother all this time.

Rohan begs Rahul to come back home, but the latter refuses as he believes his father will never accept him. Pooja convinces Rohan to invite his parents to London and have them meet Rahul, hoping this will encourage them to patch things up. Rahul and Nandini are overjoyed to see one another, however Rahul still refuses to talk to his father. Yash learns about Rohan's true intentions and is livid. Soon, Yash receives a phone call and learns that his mother is on her death bed; her last wish being for Yash, Rahul and Rohan to light her funeral pyre together. Although Yash does not want this, all the family attend the funeral together. Nandini now plucks up the courage to tell Yash that she thought he was wrong for disowning Rahul, whom he had brought up with so much love. Rohan and Pooja now talk to Rahul and convince him to talk to Yash. Yash now acknowledges his mistake and allows Rahul and Anjali to come back to the house. With the family reunited, Rohan and Pooja get married and the family also have a belated celebration of Rahul and Anjali's wedding.

Mohabbatein

Mohabbatein (translation: Love Stories), is a 2000 Indian romantic musical film directed by Aditya Chopra. It was Chopra's second directorial venture after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and was filmed at India and England. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in pivotal roles, along with six young debutantes. Aishwarya Rai appeared in flashbacks as Khan's lover. The film's soundtrack was composed by Jatin-Lalit, while the lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi. Mohabbatein is most notable for being the first time that Bachchan and Khan appeared on-screen together.

The film went on to do well both critically and commercially. It became the second highest grossing film of the year and was thus declared a superhit. It also won several awards including the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, given to Khan and Bachchan respectively.

Gurukul is a university run by the strict and diciplined Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan). Narayan who wants the best out of his students places an emphasis on honour, tradition and discipline. He has run the university for 25 years and forbids any kind of romance — anybody he catches falling in love will be expelled. The focus is on three boys: Sameer (Jugal Hansraj), Vicky (Uday Chopra) and Karan (Jimmy Shergill) who are all in love with three women. Sameer is in love with his childhood friend Sanjana (Kim Sharma). Vicky falls for a girl from the university next door named Ishika (Shamita Shetty). Karan becomes smitten by a girl he sees at the train station named Kiran (Preeti Jhangiani). However, they all know that if they are caught, they will be expelled and so decide not to try and confess their love for their interests.

Raj Aryan (Shah Rukh Khan) joins Gurukul as a music teacher. He is a strong believer of love — when he learns the three boys are in love, he encourages them to follow their hearts. He also slowly starts introducing changes to Gurukul much to the disgust of Narayan, who does not like changes. The boys soon end up disappointed when trying to get their love interests. Sameer learns Sanjana has a boyfriend. Vicky only makes Ishika dislike him when trying to woo her. Karan learns that Kiran is married to a pilot who is assumed dead. Raj tells the boys not to be disappointed. He believes they are lucky because Raj's love Megha (Aishwarya Rai) is dead. He says he continues to love her in the same way and believes the boys should also do the same. Raj often imagines that Megha is by his side.

Soon, Raj throws a party in Gurukul and invites the girls' school from next door — part of his plan to spread love throughout Gurukul. Narayan Shankar is furious and decides to sack Raj immediately. Raj reveals that he is Raj Aryan Malhotra. Raj was a student at Gurukul years ago and was expelled because he loved Megha, who was Narayan's only daughter. When Raj was expelled, Megha committed suicide. Raj believed that this incident would make Narayan change for the better; it only made him more stubborn. Raj promises that, before he leaves Gurukul, he will fill it with so much love that even Narayan himself will not be able to remove it. A battle now begins between love (Raj) and fear (Narayan). Narayan decides that he will keep Raj at Gurukal as a challenge.

Sameer, Vicky, and Karan soon win over the girls they love — Raj is winning the battle for the moment. Narayan does not give up so easily; when he sees the rules of Gurukul are being broken, he tightens them. The three boys continue to break the rules, which encourages the other students to do the same. Narayan decides to expel the three. Raj tries to reason with Narayan — he tells him that what the three boys did was caused by him so they should not be expelled for it. Raj also says that he feels Narayan lost the battle, because his daughter left him and now Raj (who considered Narayan an elder) is leaving him. Raj's words make Narayan realise his mistake. He publicly apologises to the students and steps down as the principal, allowing Raj to take over. Raj turns Gurukul into a love-filled university. In the end Raj, Narayan and an image of Megha walk happily towards the gates of Gurukul.

Josh (Devanagari: जोश, translation: "Frenzy") is a 2000 Bollywood action crime film directed by Mansoor Khan. The film stars Shahrukh Khan andAishwarya Rai in the lead roles, along with Chandrachur Singh, Sharad Kapoor, Priya Gill and Vivek Vaswani in supporting roles. The film released on 9 June 2000, and became the fourth highest-grossing film in India in 2000.

The film starts in a coastal state of Goa, a strange noble town called Vasco, named after Alberto Vasco, the richest man who used to live in Vasco in 1958 but has now died. The film then drops to Vasco, Goa, 1980, where there are two gangs who rule. Gang no. 1 called the Bichoos (Hindi: Scorpions), who are Hindus, while Gang no. 2 is called Eagles, who are Christians. The plot bears uncanny resemblance to West Side Story.

The Bichoo gang's leader is Prakash (Sharad Kapoor), while the Eagles are led by Max (Shah Rukh Khan). They are all enemies, they fight, run, chase, and beat. But they are usually stopped from fights by Father Jacob, or the Town Inspector (Sharat Saxena). One day Prakash's brother Rahul (Chandrachur Singh) comes to visit after 2 years, who is a master-chef working in Mumbai. Rahul loves Goa the more he sees of it, and as he tours around Vasco, he meets Shirley (Aishwarya Rai), the twin sister of Max and he falls in love with her straightaway.

Knowing about Eagles and Bicchhoo rivalry, Rahul keeps his mouth closed. He opens a pastry shop 'Treat House' and settles in Vasco. Meanwhile, he becomes part of the Eagles-Bichchoo rivalry, and gets closer to Shirley. The whole situation is unprecedented in this city, which gets all the more intriguing when Rahul comes across a secret about Max and Shirley's past; a secret that will change their lives forever, and that, which leads to a death. He comes to know that Max and Shirley were actually the illegitimate children of Alberto Vasco, the founder of the town. Rahul wants to reveal this to Shirley in a letter but due to circumstances it falls in the hands of Prakash. Prakash plans to murder Max, to get his father's lands worth Rupees 20 lacs [2 millions]. This leads to fight sequence between both, where Max accidentally shoots Prakash while defending himself. Max is arrested and his trial puts a rift between Shirley and Rahul. Max is about to go to the gallows, but the truth is finally revealed by Rahul and he acknowledges his brother's mistake.

The story ends with a happy note while Rahul and Shirley are married, Max too marries his love interest Roseanne (Priya Gill).

Dil To Pagal Hai

Dil To Pagal Hai (translation: The Heart Is Crazy), also known as DTPH, is a 1997 Indian musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The film depicts the love lives of the dancers in a musical dance troupe. It stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor, with Akshay Kumar in a supporting role. It was Khan's third collaboration with Chopra after Darr and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge- to be precise third as producer and second as director. The soundtrack was composed by Uttam Singh, while the lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi.

It was the first Bollywood film to be shot in Baden-Baden and Europa Park, both German tourist attractions. Dil To Pagal Hai was the second biggest hit of 1997, as well as receiving much praise for its storyline and soundtrack. Additionally, the film won three National Film Awards and sevenFilmfare Awards. The film has attained classic status over the years and is regarded as one of Chopra's best.

Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Nisha (Karisma Kapoor) are members of a massive dance troupe. They are the best of friends, although Nisha is secretly in love with Rahul. Rahul announces his desire to direct a musical named Maya. The members of the troupe, including Nisha, have their doubts about the title character when Rahul cannot describe her to them. Pooja (Madhuri Dixit) also has a passion for dancing. Having been orphaned at a young age, she has been raised by close friends of her parents.

Rahul and Nisha go shopping for clothes one day. When Rahul is trying on some clothes, he starts whistling a tune and Pooja (who is also trying on clothes) pays particular attention to this tune. Rahul soon comes up with a script for the play he wishes to direct and shows it to Nisha who still has her doubts. On Pooja’s guardian’s birthday, there is a mix up – Pooja’s family receives a parcel with sandwiches (which the dance troupe ordered) and the dance troupe receives Pooja’s guardian’s birthday cake. Rahul goes to Pooja’s house to switch the parcels and starts whistling the same tune he whistled in the clothes shop – Pooja again pays attention to this. On Valentine's Day, Rahul and Nisha attend a party with the dance troupe where Rahul expresses his disbelief in love. Nisha is upset by Rahul’s heartless attitude. Rahul accidentally calls Pooja’s house and when she disconnects the phone, Rahul starts whistling the same tune and she again listens hard to it. On Nisha’s birthday, she gets drunk and tells Rahul she loves him – he does not respond as he does not love her in return. Pooja is soon taken to Germany by her guardian’s son Ajay (Akshay Kumar) who has been in London for months. When the two return to India, just as Ajay leaves to fly to England, he proposes to Pooja and she accepts.

During rehearsals for the play, Nisha injures her leg and the doctor says she cannot dance for a few months. Rahul needs a new woman to play the lead role in the play. He comes across Pooja dancing one day and believes she is perfect for the role. He begs her to come to their rehearsals and she agrees. Rahul and Pooja become close friends. Nisha soon returns from hospital and is upset that she has been replaced. Knowing that Rahul does not reciprocate her love, she decides to leave for London. Throughout rehearsals for the play, Rahul and Pooja find themselves falling for one another. When Rahul drops Pooja home one day, he starts whistling his tune making Pooja realise that she has fallen for the man she often heard. The next day, the two go to meet Pooja’s old dance tutor Tai (Aruna Irani) who believes the two are blatantly in love. At the wedding of two members of the dance troupe, Rahul and Pooja confess their love for each other.

On the day the play is to be run for the first time, Ajay arrives and tells everyone that he is Pooja’s fiancé. Rahul is heartbroken but tries not to show it. Nisha, who has returned, notices Rahul’s devastation and explains how she too was devastated when he did not love her in return. Rahul edits the end of the play to reflect his heartbreak. On the night of the play, Ajay plays a recorded tape where Pooja described how she felt about Rahul, implying that Ajay thinks Rahul and Pooja are meant to be together. Pooja now realises she truly loves Rahul and the two confess their love on stage as the audience applauds them. Also, backstage, Ajay ends up asking Nisha whether she is already married or not (implying he wishes to start a relationship with her).

Baadshah

Baadshah (translation: King) is a 1999 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Shahrukh Khan opposite Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It released on 27 August 1999. It was a moderate success. Shahrukh Khan earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role. It is inspired from films such as Nick of Time, Rush Hour, If Looks Could Kill.

Plot:

Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) is a young man still living with his mother who wishes to follow in his late father's footsteps by working as a detective. Under a pseudonym, "Baadshah", he runs Baadshah Detective Agency out of a Mumbai office full of cheesy detective gadgetry that can be converted to an apartment or doctor's office by means of a rotating wall panel system. In his employ are several occasionally helpful, yet very simple, individuals – Rocky, Bhola, Chauki Lal, and chief assistant Ram Lal (Johnny Lever) – who help him with his work. Though Baadshah tries hard (and likely fails) to pass his agency off as highly-sophisticated and constantly busy, he actually receives little business, and is desperate for a big break. Though he manages to retrieve a businessman's diamonds from a moustached Wild West-style villain named Manikchand (who happens to be working in collaboration with the businessman's crooked underling, Saxena) in a casino through trickery and athleticism, he ends up losing the reward money as a result of being responsible for the casino needing extensive repairs. As a result of such misfortune, Baadshah's time as a detective seems to be running out, as his mother's patience for his unfruitful mischief-making is wearing thin.


Suraj Singh Thapar (Amrish Puri) is a business tycoon whose bio-chemical plant is due to be shut down following a preventable industrial accident by the popular and uncompromising Chief Minister of Goa, Gayatri Bachchan. When bribery attempts fail, he resolves to have her killed. For the job, he has Rani, his young henchwoman, hire Shiva, Mumbai's notorious contract-killer.


Meanwhile, a man by the name of K. Jhunjhunwala comes to Baadshah with a strange case. Jhunjhunwala claims that he is dying as a result of a brain tumor and wants to see his daughter married to the suitable bachelor accompanying him, Nitin, before he dies. The young woman, Seema (Twinkle Khanna), is, however, unprepared to marry Nitin, who she knows as a friend – hence the need for Baadshah's help. Baadshah takes it upon himself to woo the girl and later dump her in order to fulfil the dying man's request and create some much-needed revenue.


Baadshah pretends to be blind and, after serenading Seema in a hotel lobby and subsequently getting slapped, draws her to his "apartment", which his assistants have created using the detective agency's convertibility. There, as "Raj", he gains her sympathy and affection, telling her such things as, "My mother died before I was born." Completely taken, Seema gives in to his request for money for an eye operation that might restore his vision. Hilarity ensues, as Ram Lal poses as a trembling eye doctor and fakes performing the restorative operation at the eye clinic (another manifestation of the agency office). Overjoyed, Seema embraces Raj, her new love, and they begin a romance. Though Baadshah seems genuinely involved in the relationship for a time, he is quickly brought back to reality by Jhunjhunwala, and promptly breaks Seema's heart by revealing the lies and making clear her stupidity. Nitin rushes to comfort her, and Baadshah collects his payment. However, his feelings for her prove to be genuine, though he blows them off for the time being and celebrates with his assistants.


Unbeknownst to Baadshah, Jhunjhunwala and Nitin are actually a father-son team wanted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The marriage of Nitin to Seema, who is actually the sister of CBI Secret Agent Deepak Malhotra, is meant to stop investigation into the bank fraud case by way of family connections. The plan fails, however, when Agent Malhotra promptly arrests the Jhunjhunwalas before the marriage can take place.


Meanwhile, it is revealed by the CBI that Shiva's attempt on Chief Minister Gayatri Bachchan's life failed as a result of his death in a car accident. Fearing a second attempt, CBI headquarters tasks Agent Malhotra with investigating and providing further protection for the minister in Goa. The mission is given the codename "Operation Maa", and Malhotra is assigned the codename "Baadshah". Rani, by listening in on Malhotra's communications with a fellow agent, finds out his flight information, and unites with her boyfriend, Moti, who was recently released from prison. As per Thapar's instructions, she is to travel with Moti to the airport, where the latter will eliminate Secret Agent "Baadshah" and assume his identity in order to gain access to Bachchan and carry out the assassination.


At the same time, Baadshah (the detective) gets a second job from the businessman he first worked for. Manikchand and Saxena, wanting to regain the diamonds they originally stole, kidnapped the businessman's daughter for ransom. Baadshah and his assistants are given tickets to Goa, where the girl is being held. As luck has it, both "Baadshahs" are scheduled to be on the same flight. Baadshah, through a misunderstanding, receives Agent Malhotra's ticket at the counter, while Agent Malhotra, who received Baadshah's ticket, is identified as the CBI's "Baadshah" by Rani when he picks it up. Moti shoots Malhotra, who is briefly seen by Baadshah being wheeled away. A computer disk drops from his wheel chair, which Baadshah keeps after trying to give back.


At this point, Baadshah has functionally switched places with the deceased agent. Because he is sitting in the agent's assigned seat on the plane, another CBI agent dispatched to aid him approaches and gives him an identification flower. This draws the attention of Rani, who now thinks that Moti killed the wrong man. Rani poisons the remaining CBI agent, and tries to poison Baadshah, but fails. When the passengers disembark, yet another CBI agent identifies Baadshah as the secret agent by the flower he is wearing, and rushes him away to a CBI laboratory. As they pass, Seema and her partner, Uncle Tom, previously expecting Agent Malhotra, identify Baadshah as Raj, the heartbreaking liar, and wonder what happened to Malhotra (Seema's brother). At the laboratory, confusion prevails, as nobody is able to come to the realisation that things are not as they are supposed to be. Baadshah is equipped with a James Bond-style car and an assortment of top-secret gadgets. He is also congratulated on the Jhunjhunwala case, which he initially thinks is his marriage setup.


Baadshah is followed on the road after departing, both by Moti and Rani and by Seema. While trying to roll down the high-tech car's windows, he accidentally fends off the murderous couple. Failing to attract Seema's attention, he retires to his hotel for the night. By this time, his companions have been taken by Manikchand and Saxena to their rented hideout, where they also secretly hold the girl. Baadshah learns that the two men now hold all of his friends hostage, and that he must now rescue the lot of them.


At the hotel, Baadshah discovers that Seema has taken the computer disk from his possession. He is then given a note from Seema, requesting a meeting. He goes to see her in the parking garage, where she confronts him with an obviously uncocked pistol. While demonstrating the proper usage of the weapon, Baadshah is jumped by Moti. The two fight back and forth, until a dog forces both of them to seek safety on top of a car. Baadshah escapes by singing to the dog, while Moti is mauled and is driven into a trash can. Seema flees. She and Uncle Tom search the computer disk and see that Agent Malhotra suspected Thapar as the man behind the assassination attempt. Seema goes to Thapar's night club in order to get information from him, only to encounter Baadshah there as well. More confusion ensues, as Baadshah is mistaken as Moti by Thapar and a hitman by Seema, and Thapar is mistaken as the businessman's assistant by Baadshah. Baadshah says that he will deliver the girl to Thapar's address. Thapar thinks this is code for the delivery of Bachchan's dead body. To cap off the eventful night, Baadshah performs an epic musical number in front of a raucous crowd.


Having been in communication with Manikchand and Saxena all along, Baadshah arranges an exchange of the hostages for the diamonds at an abandoned construction site after meeting them at a school event where Gayatri Bachchan was speaking. Finding the girl and his men unharmed, Baadshah attacks the criminal duo with exploding toffee and comes away with all of the stolen goods and the culprits in custody. Sending Ram Lal and the others to Thapar's address (where he thinks they are to meet up with the businessman), Baadshah drives the kidnappers towards town. While en route, he finds Seema being chased by armed men, who were sent after her by a corrupt security agent at the chief minister's event after she tried alerting him of Baadshah's potentially deadly presence. The detective saves Seema, and tells her and Uncle Tom his side of the story and the truth about earlier events. Seema, in turn, briefs Baadshah on the overall situation. Though they are able to kiss and make up, they find themselves in dire straits. Seema's brother is now known to be dead, and Baadshah's friends are in Thapar's custody.


Baadshah, equipped with a radio link to Seema, goes to Thapar's house to try talking his way out of the mess. Thapar, now wise to the goings on, forces Baadshah to assassinate Bachchan himself using his secret agent status. Should he fail to do so, Thapar will kill everyone.


All of the key players travel to the Holiday Inn where the Chief Minister is to speak. The girl is forced to wear a bomb vest and sit in a van watched by Moti. Baadshah's assistants are kept in a high-rise room with a gun trained on them by Rani. The entire on-site security force is in cahoots with Thapar, keeping tabs on Baadshah inside the hotel. He manages to escape momentarily, with the help of a secretary, informing the chief minister's husband of the plot. Unfortunately, the husband is in on it himself, and, after killing the secretary, forces Baadshah to get back to the task. Now, with additional help desperately needed, Seema recruits the hotel staff, who give Baadshah his CBI-issued bag of tricks. This allows him to rescue his assistants from Rani. He proceeds to shoot Moti, leaving Ram Lal and the others to tend to the bomb. Seema puts a message in with the chief minister's speech script. Baadshah is forced to approach the chief minister, as Thapar still has control of the bomb. At that moment, she reads the note and learns of the impending danger, as well as her husbands' involvement in the plot. However, it being too late, Baadshah is forced to open fire upon the security personal, wounding a great many of them. Thapar, in response, takes a few shots at Bachchan himself, but her Sikh bodyguard comes between her and the bullets. Thapar prepares to fire once more, but Baadshah disarms him. Thapar then goes for the bomb switch, but the van containing the girl comes crashing through a glass wall and comes to rest in the midst of the action. Needing room to detonate the bomb, Thapar flees, and is pursued by Baadshah while the CBI scientist works on the bomb. The two men struggle for control of the remote on some scaffolding, but eventually it is Thapar who comes away with it. While Baadshah clings to a pipe, Thapar runs outside, and has Moti and Rani detonate the bomb while he sits in his getaway car. Unfortunately for him, the bomb was previously removed from the girl and thrown under the car, leading to his explosive demise.


Baadshah, having been rescued by his friends using a curtain slide, is seen to have booming business back at the detective agency. Ram Lal receives a call from Mr. Clint Eastwood, apparently secretary to American president Bill Clinton, offering $1,000,000 for assistance with the "Monica Case". Baadshah then announces his prioritisation of "wife duty", refusing the case and disappearing with Seema on a retractable bed into the wall of the detective agency. The audience is left with a pic of Raj, as a baby wearing a fireman's helmet.
